About Us - Team Biographies

Technical Staff:

Jeffrey L. Borello serves as company president and is responsible for overall company direction as well as developing key partnerships with other companies. Before co-founding Andromeda Technology Solutions, Mr. Borello served as both a software engineer and technical support engineer with a Lockport IL-based provider of data-acquisition equipment. He also assisted in support of the company's internal networks. Prior to that, he worked as an independent software consultant on a bio-medical research project for the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. He holds a B.S. degree in computer science from Lewis University, Romeoville, IL.

William C. Utz serves as vice president, and his responsibilities include managing customer accounts and developing networking solutions for clients. Before co-founding Andromeda Technology Solutions, Mr. Utz was employed as a software engineer, a support engineer, and maintained PC and Unix networks for an automated welding manufacturer based in Chicago. Prior to this, he was employed as a software engineer and support engineer at a Lockport IL-based manufacturer of data-acquisition equipment. He holds a B.S. degree in computer science from Lewis University, Romeoville, IL.

Patrick L. McDonald serves as vice president and is responsible for developing new technology directions for the company. Before co-founding Andromeda Technology Solutions, Mr. McDonald was manager of IT and technology for a national Internet kiosk manufacturer located outside Chicago. His responsibilities were to oversee the installation of wired and wireless Internet workstations. Prior to that, Mr. McDonald was manager of technical support for a data-acquisition company in Lockport, IL. His responsibilities included overseeing the testing of all manufactured products as well as managing customer support and customer training. Mr. McDonald also maintained the company's internal and external networks as well as various Email servers. He has studied electronic design at DeVry Institute of Technology and business management at Northern Illinois University.

Account Management Staff:

Carl J Utz
serves as an Account Manager and is in charge of finding and developing new business clients for the company. He graduated with a B.S. degree from Illinois State University in Science and Technology/Industrial Computer Systems. Mr. Utz started with Andromeda as a college intern, then became a full time Lan Technician after graduation. Before his promotion, Mr. Utz spent several years doing technical work for our clients out in the field.

Jeffery B. Grazer serves as our Telecom Operations Manager.  He is responsible for the design and implementation of the technical aspects in our telecom department. With over twenty-five years of experience in the telecom industry, certifications in all major manufacturers of telecom equipment, including Panasonic, Samsung, Toshiba, Comdial, Nortel, Vonexus EIC, and others.  Jeff has the depth of knowledge essential in producing results that improve our customers telecommunications needs.  Prior to joining Andromeda, Mr. Grazer has worked for several telecom companies and ran his own telecom service company for several years.

Technical Staff:

Anthony M. Zaragoza serves as a LAN Support Technician II. He is responsible for resolving both on- and off-site customer issues. Before joining the Andromeda team, he was a consultant performing IT work for a manufacturing company in Montgomery, IL. Prior to that he owned and operated a family business. Mr. Zaragoza has undergone extensive training at New Horizons Computer Learning Center and is certified as a COMP/TIA A+ Technician, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) NT 4.0, and Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) Windows 2000.

Jason V. Logan serves as a LAN Technician III. He is responsible for resolving both on- and off-site customer issues and handles any technical issues that require escalation from other technicians. He has over 14 years experience in a varying range of industries and environments. Mr. Logan holds certification as a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), as well as a vast knowledge of technologies both common and distinct. Mr. Logan has extensive experience with both Microsoft Exchange and Blackberry Enterprise Server, as well as many other server based software packages. Mr. Logan is also a certified docSTAR installer.

John W. Pallissard serves as a LAN Technician II, and supports our existing customer base resolving both server level and workstation issues, both on-site and remotely. He is also involved in the execution of new projects, and the implementation of new customers. Mr. Pallissard is a seasoned veteran of the information technology business and has been very involved with all aspects of IT, from Cat5 wiring, to system design and administration. His professional experience includes several years of freelance IT work coupled with a 10 year long career as the regional network engineer and systems administrator for the Chicago division of a national retail chain.

Daniel J. Peterson serves as an In-House Lab Technician. He is responsible for remotely diagnosing and resolving customer issues. He also troubleshoots and fixes any PCs that come into our lab for repair. Before joining the Andromeda team, he was a PC technician at a county government entity. Mr. Peterson has completed both the A+ and MCSE classes.
